FG Approves N32.7bn Social Investment Programme for 70 Million Nigerians



The Federal Government has taken a significant step toward alleviating poverty and enhancing the lives of millions of Nigerians by approving a massive N32.7 billion Social Investment Programme (N-SIP). This initiative is set to benefit an estimated 70 million citizens across the country.


The National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP), which is coordinated by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), is aimed at promoting social inclusion, reducing poverty, and improving the standard of living for vulnerable individuals and households.


This landmark project underscores the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for all Nigerians, providing support for education, healthcare, and skill acquisition, as well as ensuring sustainable economic empowerment for underserved communities.
